A New Me?

So last night I was reading Ivoryfrog’s blog and she talked a bit about pounds 2 go. Next thing you know here I am. I have many pounds 2 go and I am hoping you ladies will be able to help me stay on the right track. I want to be smaller, I want so desperatly to be healthier and most of all I want to look and feel good about myself again. It has been a long time since I have been able to look at my body and seen a sexy person. I just want one time for my DH to look at me and say WOW! So with that let’s get started!

Hi! I got your blog link from R2K’s. I’m trying to lose weight too, so your blog is an inspiration and good support for me. I’m currently still nursing my 7 month old baby, so I can’t modify my diet too much, just watch my portions and my sugar intake. I have 30 pounds to lose. After baby was born, I lost an immediate 20 pounds, but since then the scale has not budged. Do you exercise?

I would start by looking at your eating habits before you dive into an exercise program if that isn’t something you think you’ll stick with.

Are you drinking enough water to make you pee clearly [and often]? Are you starting your day with a healthy breakfast first? Are you eating healthy versions and portions of the foods you like?

If all those answers are yes, then maybe … just maybe … it’s time for a bit of exercise with your doctor’s approval. :)

Welcome Valerie! Your goals sound great and organized, and that is a good start! I agree with Jane. Analyze your eating before you begin to exercise. It’s so hard to try and pay attention to both at the same time…at least for me. I’m a little scatter brained! I am here for you! we can do it!
