Pounds2Go: 43.5, no change from previous P2G
Oops, I ran out of time yesterday! Dang those hours keep going by faster and faster, and I seem to get less and less accomplished.
I finally hit 3 miles on the treadmill yesterday. It took me 51 minutes but I felt GREAT when I finished. My endorphins were all over the place! I was out shopping (spending gift certificates) yesterday afternoon so I did a lot of walking through stores - and I grabbed a slimfast to take along and drank it in the parking lot at Old Navy. haha!
I bought some Grapples, they are so tasty - but awfully dang expensive. They’re about $2 each here, and that’s too much for one single fruit! I was very snacky when we got home and I didn’t eat anything nutritional (beside 1/2 a grapple) but I did keep my calories down.
Dinner consisted of Turkey medallions, steamed veggies with a bit of shredded cheese melted on top, plain brown rice with a spray or two of “I can’t believe it’s not butter” butter. My daughter couldn’t believe it wasn’t butter, either.
Calories for the day were just under 1200.
I do scale in every day, and I work harder if I don’t see a change from the previous day so it’s really motivating for me to do that. I told my hubby yesterday that the scale must have been getting pretty ticked off at me for getting on and off so many times in a one-minute period, so it decided to play “psyche” with me and go up and down each time. heh! I won!
Still down 7 lbs. from a week ago, holding steady, and I’d like to drop 1.5 lbs. by Saturday morning. I measured myself too, and so far I’ve lost 3 inches in 4 days. Sometimes you can’t tell what’s happening by what the scale tells you!
I’m glad to see you are all motivated and holding steady. I hope everyone maintains that positive attitude past January, we’ve got a whole year to reach our goals!

You rock, Leanne! This exercise is taking off for you!

Good for you! I like the measurements better than the scale, especially if building muscle because muscle weighs more and it can look like your not losing. Keep up the good work!

Great job! I like the measurements better than the scale too! Except, I don’t use measuring tape, I use my skinny pants. If I can get them up over my thighs a little higher than last week, I know I am on the right track! Keep up the great work!

Losing inches is a good thing. I’ll have to make sure that I measure myself as well to have a starting point.
