Today my goals are to exercise and drink water. The great thing is I am drinking a big glass of water right now and I did exercise. Ok I only exercised for 15 minutes but that is more than I normally do so it is a start. I am going to join WW hopefully today and get back on plan. I am so glad the DH moved the treadmill so i can use it again! Have a good day ladies we can do this!

Even if you exercise for 15 minutes its a start. For weight loss puroses (not cardiac benefit) they say that you can break up your exercise. For example, 2 10 min sessions if that’s easier to start with.

I read in a book (French Women Don’t Get Fat) that the two most important glasses of water to drink are right when you get up and right before you go to bed. So if you can get those in for sure, you’ve crossed two glasses off your list right away! You can also fit in exercise by doing things like parking further away in the parking lot and taking one floor of stairs to start with instead of an elevator. You’re off to a great start!

Hi Valerie, you are off to a great start!! I have a exercise bike, which has just been moved to a more convenient location so I can use it. The site sure is inspiring isn’t it?

15 minutes today. 30 minutes tomorrow, by next week, it’s gonna be an hour. Or not…whatever you do is something.

Be proud of yourself for that 15 minutes! I keep meticulous track of my progress so I can see how far I’ve come. Baby steps today…..but it won’t be that way forever
