I really watched my portions today and I power walked a full hour, which is probably over three maybe four miles (I’ll have to drive it sometime and set the odometer). My challenge lately is with my husband who wants meat at nearly every meal and I’m trying to eat more vegetarian meals. So tonight I made a vegetable bulgar pilaf and pan fried some seasoned beef seperately for him and we both got what we wanted! Just need to be creative in meeting both our dietary requirements.
I stepped on the scale this morning and I have not lost an ounce. I did keep up on my water intake though.

You did great today, keep it going! I have the same problem with meals, Leigh wants meat allt he time and also I have to make meals for a 2 year old and a 6 month old… so with me trying to be healthier I have to cook 3 different things - something with meat for Leigh, something for me, and something for Savannah (6months.) Teagan just has either what i have or what Leigh has depending on what it is….
Its worse at weekends when Leigh is home for Lunch as well as the evening meal! Oh how I wish I had a dishwasher!

Keep it up!
I admire you cooking 2 meals–the only way I got my husband to be vegetarian (and vegan) was to offer him no other choices at home. You must be an excellent chef.

You did great!
I never eat what my dh and kids eat. I rarely eat beef or pork.
We share the vegies/salad I make and I make myself something I like.

Keep at it! Those pounds didn’t appear overnight, they’re not gonna leave overnight (in fact, it’ll probably take a bit longer than that.
)
I use to do what you do - separate meals. Now, I cook the same thing for both of us, but I’ve found healthier ways to prepare the meals and I buy leaner cuts of meat - not to mention eating smaller portions.
