Made it through 1st day!

Well, I start my 2nd day of weight loss. I want to thank all of you who posted to me for the encouraging comments. I think I am really going to like this group because all of you seem “real” with stuff I can relate to.

I had a pretty good day yesterday. I even had treats although not what I would usually have. I had a Skinny Cow Icecream sandwich for dessert after a dinner of salad and chicken stirfry. As a snack in the morning I had a WW Chocolate chip peanut butter bar that was VERY good, almost like a candy bar. I felt good about the day except of course, no physical activity. I guess I will set a date for that too. I bought one of those big exercise balls with a few tapes and it looks fun so I will try to get that out of the packing it came in 2 months ago and actually try it out. I keep a big WW cup by my desk at work full of cold water so I do sip water all day and it forces me to get up from my desk to pee every so often. its when I am at home I forget about the water. I have found that even if I get my water in and have somewhat of a bad day, it doesnt make as much of a difference.

I have one of those big exercise balls too. I guess it’s time to take it out again. Glad you had a good day yesterday. :good:

Yay, Sue! It sounds like you had a really good day foodwise! You could make one little change at work - put an 8 oz. cup (not sure how big that WW cup is) on your desk next to a post-it, and when it’s empty take the long way to re-fill it. When you get back to your desk, give yourself a tick-mark on the post-it. If you do that 8 times in a day, in addition to the bathroom trips, you’ll be feeling the difference!

:yahoo: Whoo Hoo….you go girl. Sounds like your food choices were good today. ( give yourself a pat on the back!)

Exercise is never fun. I’ve been doing walk away the pounds cause I can do it in the living room even on bad weather days.

Find something you like and go with it.

I am the opposite I drink tons of water at home and a lot less at work.

I had a blast with one of the big balls when I was taking a boot camp aerobics class. Then I got my own, and I can’t get the danged thing to inflate enough! But when they are, they’re terrific to work out with!
