Days, 3, 4 and 5

Hello all. I am actually sick today with some kind of stomach flu or food poisoning. It’s a downer.

Thursday and Friday went well, though. I stayed within my points range and did 1 1/2 at a local yoga studio both days. Wow. What a difference it makes to do the yoga outside of the house. My body is still sore, and I burned off 4 points each day. I’m thinking of using the money I would have used for WW meetings and put them toward yoga, while doing my WW online. We’ll see.

That yoga place has been there forever and I have always been too chicken to go, thinking I’d look stupid. Why is it so hard to take that first step somtimes.

Now I have to make sure this stomach illness doesn’t take me off course. I often have trouble with something like this messing up my motivation. Tomorrow it’s back to the routine.

I’m enjoying reading all your posts.

Man, I hope you feel better! I HATE throwing up! Great job. I love yoga/pilates/tai chi! We have a class at our YMCA that combines all three and it is called Body Flow. It is awesome!

I hope you feel better soon. One thing I noticed–when I first started yoga classes (when I took them in the past), I started to feel run down the first couple of classes (both times I started taking them). And I realized I released a lot of toxins in my body. So I drank tons of water after the classes and felt better (the same thing happens to me after massage–even worse). I really hope you feel better soon!

I have heard that too! I had an instructer who actually got sick when she learned how to do the Body Flow class that I was talking about up there. It really is amazing how that works.

Yoga while not feeling well. That makes me feel like a couch potato. And I wasn’t even on the couch today.

Oh, I’d love to try Yoga…I’m not exactly grace personified, though

I hope you feel better ASAP!

Yoga is awesome! I am in the constant beginner stage. I took a class last year and it was so much better than a DVD.

I hope, am going to take another class in a few months. Good for you for doing it when you don’t feel well.

Have you heard of hot yoga? They heat the room to like 100 and you yoga and sweat and sweat and sweat. I so want to try it…

Hope you start feeling better soon! Our household went through the stomach flu not too long ago. Not fun!!!! I have never tried yoga. I have tried pilates. It’s a great workout.

Feel better soon! I highly recommend WW online to a lot of people if they think they have the discipline to log in and track their foods - it works for me because I’m at the computer all the time, but folks like my Mom prefer the meetings so that someone “live” is holding her accountable.

Best wishes for your continued yoga. :)
