Tonight Tony came home and T and I were napping, he said he was going to start dinner. We had chicken thighs with homemade fried rice and a salad with light dressing. The great thing was he wanted to marinate the chicken in italian dressing and I said not mine please. He then asked if I could have salt and pepper and how about a little BBQ sauce. I love that he knew I was really trying and he made sure I could eat what he was cooking. He also asked how big my portion of rice could be. ½ cup for 4 points but it was good. I am so happy he is starting to take me serious on this journey.
I want to leave you all with a pic I took today. I hope this works….

Awesome. It’s so much more helpful when our significant others are supportive in our endeavors. By your example this may help him become more concious of his dietary choices as well.

Oh man, it is so nice when the Spouse Thingys get on board. I was blown away when mine decided to do NutriSystem with me…and then kinda jealous when he lost more weight faster

It’s wonderful to have that support. It’s great when they admit that they love you for who you are, but somehow when they want to help you acheive goals like this it really packs a punch in the devotion department.
Granted, it’s a hairy subject for a guy all around - I mean no man in his right mind will say “Honey, you’re lookin’ pretty big there, want an apple instead?” The support your hubby gave you sounds just perfect!!
Cutie patootey you got there, I’d love to be on that beach, too!
