After being such a grump on Sunday. I actually did quite well. The eating was ok and when I wanted to go to bed, I stretched. That felt really good.
Yesterday, my eating sucked. But, in my defense, I started my period. I think it’s the unwritten rule of the Universe that you get to eat what you want on the first day of your period. Especially, when Freddie Kruger is ripping out your ovaries. It must be true because today I was down a pound. YEAH!!
My mood is improved and the xmas decorations are down and put away, my purse is cleaned out and I am trying to get control over my life. The pumpkin is still moldy and gross on the front planter. At this point, I may just let disintergrate into mush for the planter soil

hmmm composte, yeah why not? Woohoo on a pound gone!

Congrats on the disappearing pound! :good:

Yeah that works and then next year, you may be surprised by little pumpkin plant growing there. It happened to us when we threw our old pumpkins in the garden compost. It was even a cleaned and carved pumpkin.
And I agree about the period thing. I think it is because we are women and have to got thru this that we get to reward ourselves! :winking:

Yeah, we need period rules. Plus, for the water retention we shouldn’t weigh ourselves
11:15 am
I used to gain so much weight (water) with my periods and I found it was impossible to drink water at that time or for any activity. We have to nurture ourselves during that time! I didn’t totally binge but I did have to have some comfort food or I would have gone mental. YAYYYYY for the pound lost.

Congrats on the loss! I agree, too – if your body craves something during your period – EAT IT. Your body needs certain things when it’s all hormonal like that – like chocolate. heh. The key is not to over-indulge. (That’s where I struggle, especially during PMS.)
I’m doing some housecleaning here, too! Getting rid of last year is refreshing, isn’t it?

I swear, it’s no joke when those Lady Days come a’calling – I want to eat everything in site, including the damned furniture! *laughs*
And yes, as Leanne pointed out – especially the chocolate.
