Back to Work

I did a good job getting back to work on the program today.  I wrote everything down and as of right now, I have drank almost 60 oz of water plus my 2 cups of coffee.  The water that I am drinking right now is Propel Fitness water and I LOVE it.  It is the grape flavor.   Nummy!  My kids were bargaining with me when I got it from the fridge.  “If I get an A on my next test, can I have one of those?”  “If I clean this or that, can I have one?”  Can’t complain about them wanting WATER!  My kids are great about drinking regular water, too.  I am so glad that they don’t have my hang ups about water.

If anyone wants to meet me in the chat room at 9:00CST tonight, I will be in there.  Hope to see you then!

I may still be up at that time, unless LOST really pisses me off. *laughs*

Man, I wish water had been the standard drink when I was growing up. Maybe if it had, I wouldn’t have such an addiction to soft drinks… When your kids are older, at least water will be a habit and their teeth won’t crack in half!

Psst… your water isn’t really water - from what the website says it has “10 calories and three grams of carbohydrates per eight-ounce serving.” That’s 100 cals and 30 grams of carbs (sugars) you’re adding to your daily intake if you drink just 80 ounces (10 bottles) - compared to zero cals/carbs/anything in plain old water.

I know it’s quite an adjustment to drink that much water, just want to give you a heads up on that.

Excellent example, Shelli–it’s working already!

I sent this to your email, Leanne, but then I wanted to post it here, too, just so others would know. I only allow myself one Propel in place of realwater. It is too expensive to drink all Propel anyway. The rest of my water was straight old plain boring water! Thanks, Leanne!

PJ, you are funny!

Thumper, me too. I hate the fact that I hate boring water because if I liked it, I could drink so much. I drink a lot of liquid in a day that doesn’t count toward my water consumption. (ie; diet pop)

Thanks R2Ks!

Water solutions.

Make a pitcher of water, throw some orange or lemon or lime slices in the water. Viola, flavored water.

Keep up the good work.

Great suggestion, Rachel. I might try that.
