Slip Slidin’ A Weigh

Good morning, all.  I had a bad evening last night and over-indulged in (a) those damn peanuts and (b) a huge glass of chocolate milk!  Ugh.  And after doing so well through the rest of the day.  I’d like to know what genetic predisposition or alignment of the planets it is that causes that oh-to-heck-with-it mindset!

Never mind–it’s back on the wagon again this morning.  This is the sort of thing that has always defeated me in the past, so I’m glad I can see past it, at least, and not let that slip become a fall.  Obviously, I have yet much to learn about my eating habits and WHY I do the [stupid] things I do.  But it truly does help to have a place to come and “confess”.
Onward and upward…or downward, as the case may be.  Everyone have great days!

You’ll do great today, just keep both feet firmly planted inside the wagon.

The wagon IS a bumpy ride, isn’t it? :)

ONE DAY AT A TIME, NO GUILT & MOVE ON! Keep this as your mantra. Sometimes you may need to change “one day” to “one minute” or hour or whatever works best for you. Just don’t let a minute become an hour become a day become a week become a month until you have gained weight instead of lost it. You can do this. No guilt, just back on program! :good:

It’s ok–we’re all accountable and we’re all here to support you!

We all trip occasionally, don’t beat yourself up, all we can do is our best. As long as you even think about what you are doing, it will be better. Hang in there, today will be good!

We all make mistakes.

Today is a new day. I have eaten doritos two days in a row :duh:

Keep up the good work.

Heh. Last night the Spouse Thingy and I both had that kind of moment…between the 2 of us and our hollow-legged son, we ate the equivlent of 2 packages of Jiffy cornbread. We’d both done so well all during the day, making good food choices, eating healthy…and then cornbread.

But it was sooooo tasty ;)

Today’s a new day. Today I will eat right.
