I went back to work this week and while I found Clara a total inspiration, I still didn’t manage to get up and work out before work. I did, however, eat salad, drink a TON of water (easy to do when you teach) and always used the stairs to my office on the third floor. I climbed them about six times each day. I can’t believe how hard it is to go up three flights of stairs with a computer bad. Holy Cow I’m out of shape.
My goal is to work out as long as I’m not running a fever. I’m sick now (work germs)
and will work out with a cold. Hoping to clear it up and get on with healthy life soon. ![]()

keep it going and you will do great! :yahoo:

Don’t work out with a cold, wait until your body is 100% again. You will nto get a decent work out nor would you make yourself feel any better
9:10 am
Feel better soon, and keep going! You are doing great

If you work out with a cold, tell me so that I won’t have any excuse not to go! Seriously, I have a bad cough that I have been using as an excuse and I really need to get back to the gym! You go and I will!
10:01 am
Feel better. try not to over do it though.

Yea, those of who you said not to work out, I think that’s wise.
I didn’t want to use it as an excuse, but boy, dog, I’m sick!
So, takin’ it easy today. Hoping to work out this weekend sometime if I feel better soon.
Thanks, as always, y’all.
(And Shelli, no worries. I think a cough would make working out hard to breathe. Yes? I think I learned there’s a difference between actually needing to not workout and excuses.)
