The Good, The Bad and The Ugly

The good? I wrote down every single morsel I ate today; drank 96 oz of water (so far) and actually went for a short walk.
The bad? Those [damn] peanuts! I had about a half cup late this afternoon (after swearing I wouldn’t touch another one…so much for willpower) which put me about 300 calories over my carefully calculated total for the day. So, out the door the peanuts went to the neighbors’ kid.
The ugly? How I’m feeling right now about my apparent lack of willpower. Geez! I’m going to do a strictly fluid day tomorrow to see if I can’t jump start those scales again. Time for a pot of Weight Watcher’s Zero Point soup. I make me so angry! :duh:

that day is done, yeah you maybe didn’t need to have the peanuts but hey you did - and they were good right? You can’t change what you already did…just do your best to not do it again - which you have done by getting rid of the peanuts! Yay you!!
I am planning on making some WW soup today too.
:good:

It’s done. You got rid of them. (Great) but you ate them. If you feel bad about every morsel of food you put in your mouth, you will never eat.
You drank a lot of water (fantastic) and only went over by 300 cal. That’s not bad. Peanuts are very high in protein. While fattening, not one of the worse things. At least it wasn’t 3 chocolate bars.

Enjoy the soup

I love the soup, lived on it for some time. The good thing about Peanuts is there is Fiber, B12 and other important vitamins that your body can use. Try to eat them right before a work out and your body will live you

Hang in there Nancy. You did the right thing. You got rid of them when you realized what you did. Today is a new day!

I do the same thing, beat myself up over things I knew better than to do. I talk to myself so much now it’s pitiful. “Don’t eat that, you’re going to hate yourself ten minutes after you eat it all!” And I’m right, I do. :p

Today is a new day, and the peanuts are gone! Have a great one!

It happens, and you did the right thing–getting the temptation out of the house. :good:

Those damn nuts. So good for you yet high in calories and fat.
Today is a new day. You can do this! :D

Stop beating yourself up! That’s an order! :winking: If they are such a temptation for you, throw the peanuts away or put them in your hubby’s car. Just find a way to get them away from you! Good luck with the scales. I can’t remember when your weigh-in day is. You will be okay!

That’s exactly what I did…gave the nuts away. :)  Today is a much better day! - NancyB

Don’t beat yourself up! Just get back on the horse and keep going. No point in guilt…
