Weight Watchers day 1

Has anyone noticed that the first day of dieting (sorry, life style) that you are more hungry then normal.. It’s all psychological, except for the tummy grumbling but otherwise it wasn’t so bad. I am allowed 24 points a day. So far (it’s 5:50pm) and I still have 12 points left. I walked today during lunch so I got an activity point. I will work up the activity points but every step counts.  I am not counting the stairs and walking from further parking spot at work because it’s not a lot.

* So I went through my old WW stuff because I needed something for dinner that was w/in the points and wasn’t Mc’D’s.     I had to eat fast because I had a doctors appt.  Found a receipe for pasta and tuna.  Yes, an actual receipe but WW style.    I made enough for leftovers for lunch tomorrow.   5 points a serving.   I gave myself 2 servings and a head lettuce w/ dressing, another 2 points and I used my 24 points for the day.  Drank the water and even got some excercise in.

*Written several hours later after my doctor appt.

You sound like you’ll have a lot easier time staying in points than I have. And, the first THREE DAYS I thought I was going to starve to death. You’re off to a great start!

I don’t suppose that recipe was the one from one of the WW weekly cards? I had one that had tuna and spiral pasta that was decent. If it is another one, and it is good, post it to recipes!

Good job Rachel! I am sure that pasta and tuna will even taste better tomorrow!

You are doing great! I found the first 4 nights I was hungry, and then I was OK.

Fantastic job, Rachel! It took me about a week before I really started to be able to ignore the grumbly mental anguish of not eating when I was bored or thought I was hungry. :)

Way to go!

I definately agree that at the start of a new eating plan you feel a bit more hunger….in fact I am on day 4 of WW and I still am trying to work out the best way to feel fuller but within points…I have 28 points allowed per day (23 plus 5 because I am breastfeeding a baby who is also getting some solids) and I still find myself feeling hungry on occasions. I have yet to work out if it is true hunger or a “I am used to eating something here” type of hunger….:-)
0 point veg is my fall back - making apoint of 0 point soup later today.

sounds like you had a good day! Well done. :yahoo:
