YAY

I went to my WW meeting last night.  It was a good meeting as they were talking about portion sizes.  it was good to review things.  They have some new markers like casette tape for meat portions, tennis ball for a cup or a small fruit, 6 dice for a cheese portion, etc.  So it was good to review.  My scale at work is exactly the same as at WW, and I have lost a total of 6 lbs.  I have been pondering all morning about going to the Olive Garden tonight, thinking about a couple of entrees I wanted to try, but I know they are at least 13 to 15 points.  Then when you add on all that yummy salad with that dressing and bread and someone will invariably order appetizers, then it just shoots it all through the ceiling points wise.  So… I guess I will have salad, soup, 1 breadstick and maybe, if I can talk my daughter into it a little bit of her entree, and this way I can have a glass of wine and not feel like I am missing anything and that I am not blowing it.  But damn, I love cheese! But I am not going to undo everything I did this week and have to re-lose weight I have lost so far, so I have firmly decided the above.  I will do this.  Course then I have to deal with my visit to my mom’s house this weekend.. she always has goodies around.  But hey, it is always going to be something so I better learn to deal with them.  I can’t stop living so I better just learn to make better choices.  My mom respects whatever and doesn’t force anything on anyone so it really is up to me.  If she wants to go out, we can go to our favorite Vietnamese restarant and there is plenty of good choices there that I like.  If she wants to stay in I can cook something, but she always cooks pretty decent meals anyway, as she has some food restrictions as it is.  Wish me luck.  You ladies are all doing so fabulous and you are all so inspiring and motivational!! its good to be part of this group.  :)

I agree, too - don’t undo what you’ve accomplished! Relosing the crap SUCKS! (I’m doing that right now - 10 more to go to get where I was 9 months ago - ARGH)

You can do it, Sue. You have a plan and when you have a plan or have it envisioned in your mind, it is easier to follow through! Good for you. :good:

That is awesome. Once we set our minds to something and really commit, we can do anything.
