OK. All of my stress at the end of this week ended on a happy note and a new focus to reward myself at some point with a NEW set of scales.
I lost 4.8 pounds this week! Now, with last week’s dismal .2 gain in my first week on Weight Watchers, I am at 4.6 pounds loss starting week three.
Things I did that I think made a difference:
1. Drank water like a mad woman, cut back on Crystal Light Tea.
2. Exercised consistently, even if I could only get in 30 minutes on the treadmill.
3. Tried to not eat after dinner at all. When I did, I had only a 1-2 point snack…no more. Night is my big snack time.
4. Stayed within my points all but one day. Tried to eat low carb when possible (but did eat some carbs).
Now, I feel much more optimistic that this can work. I am still going to continue to try to cut back on carbs, especially late in the day though. I think that really helps me, because I already have the blood sugar issues.
Thanks to everyone for their supportive words! This support blog is really a Godsend! I hope you all have a great week!

Oh my, that is amazing! You RAWK! I have found that Crystal light makes me thirsty and I think the reason is because it has a lot of sodium in it. That may have been why the gain the first week. You may have been retaining water.
I am so happy for you and proud of your resolve! :friends:
