In a way, yes I did. I know it’s been entirely too long since my last post, but since then, I edited a 512-page user manual, rewrote a 45-page short story and submitted it to an e-publisher and went to Saint John, NB for a week on business.
We stayed in an adorable little b&b, where they fed us a rather healthy, (but missing protein) breakfast every morning. We ate out the rest of our meals - Thai, Italian, Mexican, Indian, Pub-style, you name it. But we walked everywhere. I had no idea Saint John had so many hills!!
But I came home sure that I had gained a tonne of weight. ‘Til I got on my crappy bathroom scale, which assured me I’d lost 2 lbs. But, it being crappy, I didn’t really believe it until I went to the doctor’s this morning. Turns out I actually lost 5 lbs. Yay me. (And that’s since BEFORE Christmas!)
So today is the first day of the rest of my diet *Grin* The kitchen is stocked with fruits, veggies, low-fat dairy and whole grains and I’m ready to go.
If I could just get my lazy butt on the treadmill ![]()

That is great. See, walking helps. When I went to London, I walked everywhere and in Wales as well. (same trip) so it’s proven to work. And you get to see pretty sites as well.
Good for you…get on that treadmill
