Thanks, Nancy. I know most of those and they sound pretty good. I like a pretty wide range of music even though it doesn’t seem like it by my playlist. I don’t own a lot of other genres of music but my kids do so I should put some from theirs on my MP3 player. I know they have Green Day and some Eminem (only allowed them to purchase pre-approved singles from itunes that were from Eminem).

It would have been great if a lot of these were added to the walking tunes topic. I put my new favorite walking tunes on that one. It’s always nice to have a good list of recommended music for working out.

IF, those sound great. I love BEPs! And Shakira makes you want to shake your butt!

Leanne, I am sorry. I didn’t want to be the only one posting to the list. Also, not everyone shares my taste in country music.

I just put my i-pod on shuffle and let it play..if the song is to slow or to thrash metal then it gets forwarded. I can start with some G-n-R and then go to Micheal Buble then a song from Rent then some Green Day and some Black Eyed Peas
Gray Anatomy soundtrack or Veronica Mars
then som Killers and some Shins. Maybe some Postal Service and then Duran Duran.
My i-pod has almost 2000 songs to pick from…eventually I will get a playlist.

It sounds like you have a wide range in your taste, as well.

I have 20 gigs of music on my iPod. Over 3,000 songs for sure. Want me to list ‘em all? ;)

I have everything from Barry Manilow to Ozzy Osbourne, Bowling For Soup to Green Day. But verrrrrrry little country, because country makes me want to hurl.

Today I worked out to Big & Rich’s Horse of a Different Color. About the point I need a “pick me up” is when “Save a Horse, Ride a Cowboy” comes on ;)

You and I have alot of the same likes (Martina, Garth, Toby).

R2Ks, do you at least get to listen to it occaisionally?

Thumper you have an eclectic taste, too. If you like Manilow, I bet you would like today’s current country. Some Big and Rich, maybe. They are kind of like Country meets Classic Rock meets Rap meets Soft Rock meets Blues. But, no, don’t list all 3000 here. Thanks though.

Big and Rich is the best. I love country, but I have a wide range of likes, too. The thing I like about BNR is that they don’t like being tied to one genre.

I could never do this… I have over 7000 songs and usually just put it on shuffle! *snicker*

Yikes, please don’t put them here then. That would take up too much room! :winking:
