Everything is going well here. I got my stitches on my elbow out today, which is good. The doctor seemed a little concerned that my elbow was so sensitive to the touch. She strongly encouraged me to stay on the anti-biotics and watch for infection. I also have to keep steri-strips on it and keep it covered during bathing/showering for the next 5 days. Yuck.
I had soup for lunch today (Progresso chicken noodle–their soups are pretty low point) and my husband came home and wanted to make soup for dinner so I ended up having soup for dinner, too. He makes the best homemade chicken dumpling soup. It is awesome. (drink :winking:) I drank water today because I was really thirsty for some reason. I have my “friend” TOM here for a visit, so it is a hassle to go to the bathroom for me, but if it helps me lose weight, I guess I will put up with it. When do we get to be done with all that nonsense? I am not having anymore kids, enough already! But, I digress. We had to have a conversation with our youngest about respect to our elders since he had some pretty sassy words for me this morning and then after that we had to talk to our middle child about her myspace page. Ugh. So I didn’t make it to the gym. Excuses, excuses, I know! Tomorrow and Friday, I promise. Really!

I love soup, too.
Sounds yummy. Sometimes life just gets in the way of our plans…like going to the gym. You’ll make up for it. Sounds like you’re doing well; keep it up! :good:

Hey, keep up the healthy eating, and you will stay on your way

I see the commercials for progressio soup, aren’t they high in sodium. Good for you with the water drinking.
Don’t worry about missing the gym. Life happens.

Thanks, NB and R2K.
Rachel, I have never checked really. I don’t really pay much attention to sodium. I probably should, but I have never had any problem with water retention and/or blood pressure.

Shelli - I’m so glad you’re on the road to recovery for your elbow. I still can’t believe how much that must have hurt!
I’m a big fan of soup too! and I’m a sucker for the Campbell’s Soup At Hand. The chicken noodle and the tomato especially!
(Very low points there too).
Keep up the AWESOME [drink] work!

I once heard soup was the perfect diet food because it’s full of water and helps you feel full on a little less calories.
Good job with the water. Keep drinking!
