Good Day
I had a great day. I ate well. I drank water well. I am actually liking water better. I even crave it. And I mean the kind that is plain, clear, cold water. With nothing but maybe some ice in it. Yum.
I also started my women’s volleyball league tonight. They actually started two weeks ago, but I couldn’t start then because that was the day that I fell on the ice and had stitches, etc. I couldn’t start until after I saw the doctor again which didn’t happen until after their second game. Last season we didn’t win any games. At. All! And we play 4 a night. This year, we have won 1 and that was last week when I wasn’t there. Tonight we ALMOST won. Ugh! But it is so much fun. We laugh hysterically. We sweat. There are no children allowed and it is nice to just get out and have grown-up contact without kids and stress. Plus, I get my exercise in!
You Need This!
Why do you need this? It has the MOST fiber I’ve seen on any cereal package and it. tastes. awesome. Natural carbs, potassium etc.. this was quite a find for me. I’ve been trying to keep a good balance of fat, carbs, fiber & protein every day and I’ve finally found something that gives me my fiber (25g/day) in two servings.
Here’s some info on why fiber is such an important part of everyone’s diet.

Anyone trying/tried to lose weight while breastfeeding?
Any tips?
I do great all day but come 4pm and I get so hungry. I eat a little snack like an apple and string cheese to get me to dinner. Dinner comes and goes and I am still starving. I know I have to add 500 calories because of the breastfeeding but I easily do that by the time its bedtime *sigh* And thats when I get lazy and say “well, hes still nursing and needs my milk supply to stay up” But hes a year now and if my milk supply hurts then its okay with me. I am trying to wean but hes really attached so going very slow.
AND!! I bought the billy’s boot camp, got 10 minutes into the basic one and it kicked my butt. I used T as an excuse to quit. I am going to do it tomorrw again and hope to get further. 5 years ago I got through his workouts without a problem. So sad.
Slipped and Almost Fell!
Grrr. Old habits die hard, I guess. I nearly went on an empty-the-cupboards eating frenzy this evening. But instead, I came here. And that’s a good thing, of course. But I get so angry and disappointed in myself. I do so well for a few days … a week, and then those old habits creep right back in again! It’s ridiculous! And I figure at this rate, it’ll take me about 12 years to lose those 64 pounds … and I want it gone NOW! :bawling: Did I mention that I’m very impatient?
I’m “peri-menopausal”, according to my doctor, (I’ll be 51 in March) and I must have had an estrogen burst today or something, because this feels just like PMS. Perpetually Masticating Syndrome!!

Another Day Number One
In a way, I started over today. I won’t discount all the work I’ve done so far, but I decided to push a little harder this week. I have to stop derailing myself and allow myself to be succesful, you know? Sometimes I feel like I sabatoge my own goals and this is completely unecessary. So, here we are: Day Number One. Again.
I ran today! I’ve been pretty good eating as well. I should drink a bit more water but I’m working on that right now and I’ll be making a low fat turkey meat loaf for dinner with fresh green beans. It’s time, y’all. Leanne said something that stuck in my brain, “If you’re really ready to make a change, you will.”
Amen, girlie. Amen.
Monday Weigh In

Staying on plan! Drinking my water. Most importantly I’ve got a new hobby that’s keeping my hands busy! I’ll post pictures later in the week, I’m still in progress (with my hooby) right now…
