In a way, I started over today. I won’t discount all the work I’ve done so far, but I decided to push a little harder this week. I have to stop derailing myself and allow myself to be succesful, you know? Sometimes I feel like I sabatoge my own goals and this is completely unecessary. So, here we are: Day Number One. Again.
I ran today! I’ve been pretty good eating as well. I should drink a bit more water but I’m working on that right now and I’ll be making a low fat turkey meat loaf for dinner with fresh green beans. It’s time, y’all. Leanne said something that stuck in my brain, “If you’re really ready to make a change, you will.”
Amen, girlie. Amen.

Way to find a good attitude! That counts for a lot more than we all think, I’m learning.
7:15 pm
Thanks, Jen. I’m actually learning this, too. I find myself talking negative to myself and have to turn it around.
I CAN do this. I CAN. We ALL can!
7:21 pm
And I really *do* think you have to be ready, mentally. Good for you … and good luck!
7:23 pm
Thanks, Nancy. Part of my “getting ready” was writing down a plan. Seems to help.
7:53 pm
And it’s ok to make changes one at a time–you are doing that so well!
10:04 pm
I don’t remember saying that. I thought I offered a toll-free hotline?
Regardless, I have to say I can feel your positive attitude way over here in my office. How cool is that?
10:23 pm
Every day is a victory. Remember that! Good job getting back on track.
10:54 pm
You can do it! We are here!
11:35 am
I agree with Leanne, your head really has to be right. It is a lot like quitting smoking and it takes a few tries sometimes. Hang in there and don’t give up. You sound like you are off to a great “new” start again. We do all have to realize we are going to blow it sometimes but the important thing is to get right back on and that tomorrow is always a new day.

Good for you. I admire that you never quit trying. And what Leanne said…wow. She’s right.
