Hanging in there…

This week is a difficult one for some reason. I am working out again after taking most of last week off due to painters being at my house. But, I’m coming in at the top or just above my set WW points for the week. And, today, I sit here with just 6 points left for dinner. That might not sound like much to some, but I am used to having about 10 points to play with for dinner and a snack after. So, it will be a long night, I suspect!

I weigh in on Thursday at my new meeting place just after I work out…but it is midday. That makes me nervous because I always weigh less early in the morning. So, today I have been drinking water like a mad woman. I have these jugs that I got at Walgreens awhile back that hold exactly 8 glasses of water’s worth, so that makes it easy to make sure I have drank enough.

Leanne had a great cereal tip today, does anyone else who is doing Weight Watchers have any favorite quick snacks or breakfast ideas? I’m always looking for those.

Wish me luck for Thursday!

You’ll be fine. For snacks I like Graham crackers, you can have 2 squares and it is only 1 point. I also love those bars they sell at WW, peanut butter chocolate chip and also the cinnaman swirl… they are all good but those are my favorites. They also sell some little bread twisty things in several flavors that are yummy, i have only tried the Ranch flavored ones. I like to cut up an apple in several slices and have a couple of graham crackers with it as it is feels like a lot of food and it is satisfying. For breakfast, 5 points, I like those little mini pancakes (6 of them) and a morning start sausage, all in the microwave with SF syrup. That is yummy and satisfying. The only other thing is a pack of oatmeal and that seems to keep you full for a long time. Hope this all helps. I would like to try that cereal Leanne posted today, it sounds good.

I’m going to have to go to WW at a different time than I planned. Turns out that my husband has something going on Thursday night so now I have to go to a different meeting. Not real happy about having to change my first week either.

So I sympathize with you on changing times but for a slightly different reason as mine will probably be better for me weight wise…

I used to live on V8’s when I was doing WW. Popcorn too.

I have no idea what WW points they’d be, but one of my favorite snacks is a Fuji apple. Other apples are good, but a Fuji just Does It.

South Beach makes these really tasty bars, too. I can’t eat them because they have malitol as a sweetener, but they are verrrrry tasty. I think they could be used as a breakfast bar.

Oh man, I hope we have apples for snack tnight…I may have to send someone to the store…

Keep doing what you are doing–hanging in there. Don’t worry about the scale this week. Just chalk it up to what it is–a different time of day. And if it is a loss, all the better. Next week will be a better barometer. I do this when there is a change from summer clothes to winter clothes, too. I hate that. Good luck.
