I understand totally the slowly sloth post that went out recently on this blog. My weight is coming off, but it is not in big chunks. This week, I lost 1.2 pounds.
But, i still consider this a victory. Some is better than none and definitely better than a gain. I switched meeting locations and had to weigh midday AND it was a short week because it was on Thursday instead of Saturday. So, I expected a gain or to stay the same this week. I can’t complain with a pound lost.
I am now starting week six with the Weight Watchers materials and I have lost 6.2 pounds. A pound a week…at this rate, it will take me a long time to get to my goal, but at least I’m making progress, inch by inch, little by little.

Slow and steady really is best. If you drop too much too fast, it doesn’t work out nearly as well.

No matter how long it takes to reach your goal, you’ll be glad when you get there! Plus, you’ll just be a little happier about it each week

You are doing awesome, CMC! I will tell you what I said to Clara (slowly…sloth)–I haven’t lost anything, yet. So feel better about what you have lost! :clapping:
