8 minutes in the morning to a flat belly.

So, I bought the “8 minutes in the morning to a flat belly”  book. I’ve read most of it and it’s a lot of common sense stuff [why fat sticks around, emotional eating, etc. etc.].

I didn’t know I’d have to buy a medicine ball [or risk dropping an equivalent weight in the form of a bag of flour - can you just see the mess now?] and a Swiss ball [one of those big blow up air balls] to participate in the plan, but all told it’s not like it’s the cost of a treadmill or other bits of exercise equipment, so I’m okay with that.

I read each of the daily exercises and quite frankly, I’ll be really surprised if I lose 6 inches in 4 weeks as it suggested.  They all look really easy [yes, they look easy Jane, but wait till you have to hold that 5lb ball in the air for a full minute *cackle*].

To be fair, it does say “up to 6 inches” so I’m keeping that in mind.  I’ll pick up the two exercise balls tomorrow and I guess I’ll kick start things on Monday - man, I hate getting up in the morning…

Don’t forget the tape measurer! Measureurururrrrrr that is SUCH a wierd word.

Anyway, mornings are GREAT! You’ll LOVE them when you find out how much extra quiet time you get during the day! YAY!!!

(just throwing some optimism your way. heh!)

Just think how great it will be to get up and get it over with first thing in the morning. Not only will you not have to dread it all day but you also won’t have to worry about putting it off later AND think of all the extra energy it will give you and how much it will help your metabolism (or atleast it seems like it would)!! :yahoo:

Darn you both for sounding so optimistic and positive - but you haven’t seen me making horrid faces and burying under the blankets when the alarm goes off….

[strangely enough, I wake up at the crack of dawn on weekends....]

34″ inches to start. Let’s see where we are in 6 weeks.
