It’s been a good day today. Like most weekends, our meals never seem “regular” — breakfast and lunch are frequently combined and supper time varies, depending on what’s going on. But what we ate was right “on program”.
I started using the Stair Stepper last night and did 200 left/right steps on it to start. Man, the burn! Surprisingly, my legs weren’t very sore at all today, and I repeated the 200. It doesn’t seem like much, but it’s a good starting place. I also did some ab crunches, so I’m getting there.
I found Leanne’s post on body types very interesting, and my results were bang on. I’ve known for a long time that super-refined carbs are my downfall and it was good to read the suggestions the article offered and to discover the types of protein I should be eating. A great resource! :thanku:

Way to go for staying on program! :bananadance: Great job on exercising too. 200 steps seems like a lot to me but I’ve never done a Stair Stepper. Either way, the small stuff matters because it adds up. :good:

Weekends can be really hard to eat regular meals. For me it’s because the Spouse Thingy works nights and is sleeping all day, I sleep in so what I wind up with is brunch, and the guys want dinner around 5… Wait, that’s not much different than the rest of the week fr me…
There’s something about weekends, though, that make it feel like breakfast and lunch can be a combo meal…

Thats great that you kept eting the right foods even tho it was the weekend. And before you know it it will be 250 steps and then 300. keep it up.

Good job! You seem to be on the right track and are doing great. Weekends are hard for me, too because of what you said, nothing is regular. I. Hate. The. Stairstepper! Ugh!
