What is Your Body Type?

(Some of you have already done this, some of you haven’t. I’ll stick this one up at the top sporadically so everyone new can do it, too. If you’ve already done it, post your Body Type again please? I wiped the comments by mistake. Thanks!)

Here is a questionnaire/body type informational thing for you to print and go through. If you really think about the questions and answer them honestly, you’ll get an accurate result that will help you determine what level your metabolism is.

Page 1 : Page 2 : Page 3

Once you’re finished and have your Body type, you can select the one you need and get a general summary of the types of foods you should be eating and what you should be steering clear of for your body type.

A : B : C : D : E

This is a general rule. I’m not saying that you should all be on this program, but this explains a lot about which carbs are good carbs, and which proteins are good proteins for you.

Would you believe I JUST threw the printed out pages away before I sat down right this very moment? Fortunately, I happened to read it again before I pitched it, and I’m a “C”.

Hmm I’m an A. I think that programs like this work for some people. I do know that I’ve had to change the types of foods I eat in the morning, or I feel icky.

Thanks Leanne, that was interesting :)

Just wondering how this plan (Michael Thurmond’s) worked for everyone? Is there any results? Also did yoou publish the body type food lists somewhere?

Thanks

Can anyone advise how to do this plan as a vegetarian? I eat dairy and eggs, but not fish. will the fat content of cheeses make them poor substitutes? could I get away with laughing cow triangles, do you think? I’m a type A, which I think means i should avoid carbs at all cost - making faux meats, which are often rice or grain based, not a good idea, i think. i have a serious amount of weight to lose, and i’d like to start off with the positive feedback of the quick results this plan seems to offer; i just don’t know quite how to do it as a veggie. also, the ‘greens’ on the A plan - is that any leafy lettuce thing and that’s it, or could i eat broccoli or some other veggies as well? thanks!

I found out that I am body type ‘B.’ What foods should I be eating? When should I be eating? Can someone provide a shopping list for me?

Please advise

Thank you!

Hi All!
My fiance and myself are both Type B and we are happy with our first few days on the 6 day makeover. After the first day, I woke up, got on the scale–and I’d lost 4lbs! The first day! He lost 3lbs! We were floored. The great thing about this: it gets you motivated. You look at portion control and avoid the things you should be avoiding: white flour and sugar.
All the best to you all!
M.

I am a body Type C- On the Michael Thurmond diet, can I eat pasta? I know I cannot eat red meat. But how about maccaroni.

I just took the survey (thanks for posting) and see I am a body type A. Question is does anyone know why Columns 5 and 6 seem to take precedence over column !?

I circled 6 in columnn 5 but 7 in column 1 - he says to look at column 5 first. I wonder why?

Thanks for posting!

It appears that I am type B. It also appears that I am very hypoglycemic. I circled 6/8 in column 6. Perhaps I should go to the doctor…

I had some suspicions before this but now I’m pretty certain that I have low blood sugar :(
