The Good–I had a great week last week. I ate well. I worked out 5 out of 7 days. I drank copious amounts of water. I probably had what would have normally been a days worth of of diet pop for me over the course of the week instead. All in all, a great week.:yahoo:
The Bad–I gained this week. I gained .2 of a pound. I know that doesn’t seem like much, but that brings me to the ugly.:indifferent:
The Ugly–In the last two weeks, I have gained .8 of a pound. That is almost a pound. I feel like I have been doing everything right and not being rewarded remotely for it. It is really started getting to me. I am sick of it. I am not going to quit or anything, but if I don’t start seeing results soon, I am going to be one unhappy human being.

Hang in there! You are doing the right thing. A few weeks ago that happened with me and I thought I was going crazy. You need to just stick with it and I bet it will show up this week.
YOU’RE DOING GREAT! HANG IN THERE!

Thank you, really CMC! :thanku:

Shelli, you’re doing everything right — try not to be discouraged and stick with it. Eventually, you’ll see that ‘almost-pound’ disappear, and it will probably take some of its friends with it! It happens, and these are the moments when you have to really grit your teeth and stay the course. It’ll happen. And good for you for having such a great week! :clapping:

:thanku: NancyB, after me “yelling” at you, you still came and gave me kind and encouraging words. Thanks!

:friends: Did you take that quiz about what body type you are? I’d be curious to know if you and I are a different body type. I was thinking about you this morning and thinking how it’s so unfair. You work at it just as hard (or harder!) than me and you ought to see the same incremental reward, right? Like just SOME CLUE from your body that what you’re doing is the right thing. It’s frustrating even if it is just muscle mass you’re building.
Still, you WILL see results. Wish it was sooner rather than later, but keep with it - I’ll be cheering you on the whole way.

Yeah! What ^she^ said!

Thank you, Leanne and Geeky Mama! :thanku: I will try that when I can get to a computer where I can print out the quiz. My laptop doesn’t communicate with my printer for some reason. :p

Just grab a piece of paper and figure it up on that one page at a time, I think that would work? You could open the images up all in their own windows and just do it that way.

I can’t do WW Points program. In 5 weeks I gained weight! And I was so good and exercising. I was so disappointed. But finding out I was insulin resistant and switching my eating habits to low carb/low fat (South Beach) made all the difference. Now I have been on this stupid plateau, but I know eventually I’ll start losing again.
Look at what your eating, even if the points say it’s okay and maybe switch things around. Use your points with lower carb things. Just don’t give up!

Thanks Maribeth, that makes sense, actually, and goes along with what Leanne is saying about different body types.
And duh, Leanne. I will have to do that asap. Thank you.

oh how frustrating that must be. You’ve been doing everything right and no visible rewards that you can see. How do you feel though? Remember with all that exercise you are probably building muscle which weighs more than fat and can account for some of that. Also, are you measuring your food and writing everything down that you put in your mouth? If you aren’t you could be missing something.
Keep working, you will see those rewards soon.

You are probably right a little bit about the BLT’s–bites, licks and tastes. However, I am not eating my exercise points nor am I using all of my flex points. I have some good news to report though so stay tuned.
