Wednesday’s WW Weigh In

Yesterday was weigh in and I lost almost 2 lbs. last week, 1.8 lbs.  So I am down a total of 11.5 lbs.  It kills me though, I have been really conscientious for the most part about eating correctly, water, etc., but my daughter on the other hand, had several little episodes of eating too much or the wrong thing and she still lost 3 lbs.  It has taken me 4 weeks to lose 11.5 lbs. and it has taken her 2 weeks to lose 10 lbs.  Interesting.  I have decided that this week, I am going to have to MAKE myself get up and do some exercise and get into the habit.  It is just so hard by the end of the day and with all the rain and stuff my body just aches by the time I get home, all I want to do is plant myself.  I don’t think I can lower my points anymore because I will get too hungry at this weight so its a must.  So.. Wish me luck.  I am determined.  I have got to get my metabolism revved up.  The WW meeting was actually very good, and I got a couple of new recipes and ideas and meal planning.

You’re still doing great, just try not to compare your progress to anyone else.

I noticed that from day to day, if I don’t eat as much as I should, I don’t lose or I show a slight gain. Starving your body of calories just makes you store more of what you do eat, so make sure you’re having what you’re supposed to have - don’t short yourself the fuel you need to burn the fat.

The wonder of youth: being able to lose wight seemingly at will. Men and kids, both can lose it easily, and both drive me nuts :)

Well, hows’ this to make you feel better. I’m starting week six and have only lost 6.2 pounds. Could be worse, could be worse…

Great job! Just remember, you are different people, different ages and different metabolisms. You are doing great.

I was going to say what Shelli said. Don’t compare yourselves. Different people, although people may say your daughter is like you, she isn’t

You are down 11 lbs…that’s awesome. Go You.

Listen, you do not want to lose ten pounds in two weeks. It is unhealthy for our body. Ten pounds is a ton of weight to lose in a month. Celebrate it. Rejoice in it.
