Weight Goal: 135.1 lbs
Weight lost: 11.4 lbs (as of last weigh-in Sat, Feb. 4th)
As of last Saturday I am just 5lbs from my 10% goal. (According to WW). Realistically, I really started all this weight loss at about 172lbs - I was just fortunate to have lost weight before my first weigh-in. (Who says cold n’ flu season doesn’t have a silver lining?!)
I’m not usually one to “work towards a goal”. I’m really good at just floating along hoping for the best. But I’ve decided I’m floundering a bit. I’m cheating a bit here and there eating off the kids’ plates, being “too tired” to workout.. and I’m bad about getting the water I need and a daily multivitamin. I’ve noticed the weeks I’ve been more diligent I’ve seen almost a 3lb weight loss. The other weeks.. well… not so much.
So, here’s my (first ever) goal:
By my Feb. 18th weigh-in I want to be at or surpass my 10% weight loss goal. That gives me two weeks to lose 5.4lbs. A safe, do-able amount of weight loss for me – when I’m “sticking to it” and not cheating like crazy. With a little effort on my part (making time to workout, getting enough water, avoiding the kids’ french fries) I CAN DO THIS. So, I’m telling y’all to keep me honest.

You can do it. Best of luck. It’s a reasonable safe amount in a good time period. You have a happy dance waiting when you do it.

You can DEFINITELY do this! It’s reasonable, healthy and once you knock this one outta the park, you can set a new one and go for it with confidence!
Just think how awesome it will be when you hit that goal and can reward yourself – maybe a manicure or a new lipstick?

It’s always a good idea to share your goals with others for a certain amount of accountability and ALOT of support.

I think you’ll keep yourself honest! It’s always good to have goals like that, mini-goals, I call them. They will keep you progressing toward that final goal.
