This weekend, I am going to a scrapbook retreat. Friday night, all day Saturday, and part of Sunday. Can’t wait to see how many pages I can get done.
I went to one of these in October, before I was dieting. Here are the snacks I took along:
- non-diet pop (several cans)
- a four pack of frappucinos (and I drank EVERY one!
)
- gummy bears
- peach gummies
- chocolate covered peanuts
- pringles (at least they were the Light kind! LOL)
- grapes (hey, something healthy!)
- licorice
Oh my!! Can you say BINGE?!?!?! Now that I am watching what I eat, there is NO WAY I’d consume all that junk food in a weekend!
This time around, I am making smarter choices:
- 3 cans of diet pop (planning on one a day)
- peach tea Crystal Light
- a couple 100 calorie snack packs (oreos and cheezits)
- some oranges
- grapes
- several bottles of water
- sugarless gum
Breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be provided so obviously, the above is not all I will eat!
Can I tell you?? … I am actually going to miss NOT walking on my treadmill tomorrow. I might try to take a walk around the building but it’s supposed to be VERY cold so I don’t know if I see that happening! The good thing is, I’ll only miss one day because I’m getting ready to walk when I get off here for today then I’ll be back early Sunday and will be able to walk that evening! Who’d a thunk that I would be regretting that I won’t be able to get my exercise in!!! LOL I am planning to take along my yoga/pilates mat… but I doubt I’ll end up doing it. But can’t hurt to have it, right?!?!?! I don’t remember seeing a TV the last time I was there but I think I might go ahead and throw in my new pilates tape I bought off ebay! It’s always good to be prepared, right?!
