A Word of Explaination!
(Looking back over the previous post ,(Get up and get it yourself) which I truly meant to be amusing, and your comments.. Perky looks mean and petty. That really wasn’t my point. What followed was an honest conversation about what I needed to do or change to reach my goal. Please remember I am quite outspoken and have a “bad reputation for being outrageous “. Let me assure you I can take it as well as dish it out.) btw…the event did actually happen….but not said in a mean or hurtful manner.
Remember there is a very thin line between humor and reality. I chose to see the humorous aspects because sometimes the reality is too overwhelming. I guess the real point is that I always come back to Weight Watchers because I know I need the accountability. I am starting to make some friends there so am not entirely feeling like “the lone ranger” anymore.
Snow and stuck update
So, I managed to not eat everything. Mainly because I don’t keep junk food in my apt. I have low fat microwave popcorn. That about covers the junk food.
I cleaned my car off, and pulled out and drove around the parking lot. It’s icy but I had to give in and hire a kid to actually shovel the snow around my car. I just can’t do it. I can barely lift my arm to clean my truck off, I can’t take the chance of it getting icy overnight so a kid makes 10 bucks to shovel and salt around my car. Good for him.
Just getting my coat and gloves ands stuff on, that’s a workout and cleaning off the car is a pain. I sweated so it counts as a workout. Go me.

That’s my terrace. I live on the 12th floor and it has a high gate (since it’s the 12th floor)
That’s the view of the snow coming down from my living room, off the terrace.
Yes, it’s beautiful and fun to play in. But my question, how am I not supposed to just want to stay in and eat everything in sight. I love snow, in theory. It’s fun, it’s cold and it’s pretty. But on snow days, for those of you who have them, they are the perfect day to make cookies and watch movies and eat popcorn and have hot chocolate. Then go have a snowball fight and shovel (excercise) but still…it’s a tough choice.
