(Looking back over the previous post ,(Get up and get it yourself) which I truly meant to be amusing, and your comments.. Perky looks mean and petty. That really wasn’t my point. What followed was an honest conversation about what I needed to do or change to reach my goal. Please remember I am quite outspoken and have a “bad reputation for being outrageous “. Let me assure you I can take it as well as dish it out.) btw…the event did actually happen….but not said in a mean or hurtful manner.
Remember there is a very thin line between humor and reality. I chose to see the humorous aspects because sometimes the reality is too overwhelming. I guess the real point is that I always come back to Weight Watchers because I know I need the accountability. I am starting to make some friends there so am not entirely feeling like “the lone ranger” anymore.
Thank you for your encouragement and suggestions. One day when I’ve lost the weight I want to write a book called “My Weigh of Thinking”….you are a great audience to bounce ideas off of and an amazing group of women. (Having said that, I guess I’m now obligated to send you an autographed copy if I ever do write it!)
So keep me sharp! All of you are my personal heroes, and team members and I appreciate you more than words…..Lazy Daisy

You have my sense of humor, so it is easy for me to relate to your stories and see the truth behind it. I’m just glad you’re benefiting from the meetings, and airing the whole thing with us!! I love your approach to the whole thing, it will make for a great book!!

You absolutely do have to send me an autographed copy. I want it to say, “Shelli, you knew me when…” You can fill in the rest. Something funny. You are my hero, too, LD! You make me laugh every single day! Really!
