H-2-ohhhhh

My official Wednesday weigh-in shows another pound lost. I was hoping it would somehow morph into something larger, but I’ll take it. This is so much slower than I thought it would be; yes, I know slow and steady is best, but who takes their own advice? ;)

There are a few things I could have done better this week, which might have made a difference. Two or 3 days, I didn’t have as much water as I had been drinking. So I will up that to my 100 oz. again — it really does make a huge difference for me. And bread is something I still have to work on — I eat too much of it, even though it is a multigrain bread. It’s not so much that I crave it as that it’s easy and convenient. And yesterday was my MIL’s 75th birthday and we had wine and birthday cake with her last evening. I kept mine to one small piece, but refined carbs are my deadly downfall!

So, it’s all a learning experience and onward I go, armed with these red flags. :D

I have noticed that with water as well. I am considering trying the Core plan with WW because of my carb addiction. I lose more weight when I really cut back on carbs, I have noticed. Thanks for the encouraging comments on my last post.

I’m up a pound but I think it’s cause Auntie Flo is due for a visit this weekend. At least that’s what I’m blaming it on. :(

Slow and steady… slow and steady… we’ll get there!

Speaking of GET, I need to go get my water bottle filled up! I haven’t even started it yet… UGH… and it’s 10:30. :(

Think of a pound of butter. Four sticks. That is a lot. Put 4 sticks of butter somewhere on your body…see what I mean?

You lost a pound! That is awesome! And it is despite having birthday cake, even though it was a small piece. Give yourself credit!

I think we all have that point where we want the weight to just melt off. Unfortunately, we can’t lose it all in one day. And we didn’t gain it all in one day either.

Good luck with the water. I find I drink less in the winter. I try to get at least 64 oz. in though. I have also done the Weight Watchers core plan, like CrazyMomCat wants to try, and it works really well for me. Except I end up really craving pizza if I don’t use some points for a piece of bread now and then.

And I will say it again: Woohoo! A pound! One less to worry about!!!

You’re SO RIGHT about the water. Man, alive. Good job recognizing that.

I have the same bread thing. I don’t know what it is, but I’ll even abuse low carb bread. I have to choose fresh fruits and vegetables and moderate the bread just because of that.

Good job on the pound! Every pound is one gone for good.

I am so with you on the refined carbs. They are my biggest weakness by far.

But a pound is a pound is a pound and it’s out of here! Congrats!
