I Blew It!
That is the first thing I thought after I calculated my points for the meal we got at Wendy’s. It is stormy, it is late, and I was hungry. I didn’t want to be bothered with cooking. The next thing I thought was, “I am so bad.” It is those negativities that don’t help me. :duh:
So, instead, I will say, “I didn’t make the best choices this evening.” My sushi lunch was more points than I expected, since I went by the nutritional info on the package. And dinner was also more points, even though I did plan out what I wanted to eat. I didn’t make the best choices. I admit it. But tomorrow is a new day. :winking:
Spark People Article
This article arrived in my inbox from SparkPeople this morning. Hmm. It’s as if they knew *I* needed to read this today.
I had a decent day yesterday — still a little heavy on the bread [no pun intended]. But I’m working on that. I find that a day or two before ‘grocery day’, when things like salad ingredients and such are running low, it’s more of a challenge to make good choices when a sandwich is easy and available.
However, I’m making a big pot of vegetable soup this morning and hope to stay perfectly on track. ![]()
