That is the first thing I thought after I calculated my points for the meal we got at Wendy’s. It is stormy, it is late, and I was hungry. I didn’t want to be bothered with cooking. The next thing I thought was, “I am so bad.” It is those negativities that don’t help me. :duh:
So, instead, I will say, “I didn’t make the best choices this evening.” My sushi lunch was more points than I expected, since I went by the nutritional info on the package. And dinner was also more points, even though I did plan out what I wanted to eat. I didn’t make the best choices. I admit it. But tomorrow is a new day. :winking:

And because you have the attitude like that, you will succeed. You did it. You admit it. You will do better.
Everyone has those days (or weeks) it happens.
Good luck to you
10:00 pm
exactly, it is a new day. So drink a big glass of water and think about the choices you will make tomorrow instead.
(I’ve been having one of those weeks!)
6:58 am
I am here to tell you, we all make those bad decisions! Only thing to do it keep motivated and try try try!
7:09 am
That’s an excellent attitude! Negativity won’t get you anything but depressed.
Each day’s a new chance to get back on track; I’ve had to do it myself many times. Stick with it!
11:07 am
You’re exactly right. Negative thoughts don’t help you overcome at all. I find that if I think that way, I’m more likely to say, “Well.. I already screwed up! I’ll just call this week/month/year quits.” So, you’re right. Tomorrow is a new day and ONE DAY in the big scheme, won’t set you back. It’s when one day turns into three weeks that it’s hard.
So.. today you’re back on track and ready to keep going!
6:55 am
Absolutely. And look what happened–you lost weight! (Oops. Was I not supposed to tell since I read it somewhere else?) Way to go. Don’t forget that you have those 35 flex points to play with.
