Okay ladies, I’m calling for a roll call. I know that many of you have difficulty getting all of your water in each day. To figure how much water I plan to drink each day I take my current weight and divide it by 2 and use that number in ounces.
Today is Wednesday and it’s 4:47pm my time. I’ve had 96 oz of water so far today. And I’m not done yet.
How much water have you had so far today?
Ammie: -24 lbs and 146 lbs 2 go.
4:57 pm
I’ve had about 32 oz. which I know isn’t enough but we got shut out of the kitchen where the ice is for the watcr that we would need for the fountain. I am drinking more with dinner. I will get another 24 oz in by 10 I hope
5:11 pm
I’ve had about 130 oz. so far today, and I’ll probably drink another 30 before bed tonight, which will be about 5 hours from now.
My rule of thumb is to drink at least 100 oz. a day. The more the better!
8:02 pm
Wow, you are kidding aren’t you? OMG…you’re not?

Dang metric units! I have no idea how many ounces I drink… uh, about a .75 to 1 liter a day. (I really should have paid more attention in Math class years ago.)
7:37 am
Wamama, your 1 liter is approx. 34 oz.

Sleeping Mommy, I drink (or religiously try to) at least 100 oz of water a day. I fill 2 – 2liter pop bottles, which = approx. 140 oz and try to drink as much of the second bottle as I can. A rule of thumb that I read online is: drinking .5 oz for every pound you weigh, plus an additional 8 oz. glass for each 25lbs that you are over “ideal” weight.

Really, Nancy! I never read that. Awesome info.
I’ve had (adding now in my head.. slowly.. slowly.. wait..) 74 ounces so far. Interesting. I thought it would’ve been more.
Thanks for making me add it up. I’ll go get another bottle’s worth.
