It’s been awhile since I posted. I haven’t had much progress and also missed my weigh in this week because of Spring break. I am considering going on the Core plan for Weight Watchers, which basically gears you to mainly eating non-processed foods. Is anyone on this blog on that program? If you are, and you have any advice for me, I’d love to hear it. I’m gathering recipes now and it will mean a shift in lifestyle for me, but I need to make this shift anyway as I’m diabetic. It seems like combining the advice I have to eat 5 small meals a day (to keep blood sugars stable) along with this plan might be the key. The 35 points a week to eat off the core plan also make it more doable for me.
So, what’s you’re experiences with this? Thanks in advance!

We’ve cut out almost all processed foods as well and though it hasn’t sparked a huge or sudden weight loss, I sincerely FEEL better for it. Good luck — any change is hard, but this sounds like a positive step for you. :good:

Sounds like a healthy way to go–I haven’t really looked at the core plan that much but I think it would be easy to forget to make sure you are keeping the right amount of portions and keep the portions the right size. So make sure you pay extra attention to that. Just because it’s not processed doesn’t mean you can eat limitless amounts.
