My water intake is never under 64 oz . Most days I get 80 oz down. I gained some weight and was puzzled. But now I think it was my body hanging on to the extra water. Today I weighed 2 lbs down from where I started. So I am encouraged to keep going. * i think i can I think i can i think i can* My body must be hydrated again. I am working out 6 days a wk and really enjoying it. Still haven’t found an ab exercise that doesn’t hurt or bother my tailbone. So I started using the machine at the gym. I don’t feel 100% comfy with it yet but getting there.
I ate out at Sonic the other day and boy did I regret it. Never again. My stomach did not like it, tho my tastebuds were not complaining. Damn those tastebuds, they ruin everything.

I know what you mean about the tastebuds. Mine are changing too.
The ab machine at the gym does wonders for me. I do more reps on it and then go do a lot on the back machine as well.
Congrats on the 2 lbs!

Congratulations on your 2-lb loss! I ate out over the weekend also, (early birthday dinner) at a Chinese buffet. It was delicious and though I tried to maintain good portion size, I didn’t deny myself anything either. This morning, I was as puffed up as a blowfish! Must be the MSG or something, but, it just ain’t worth it.
Sounds like you’re doing really well!

Keep up the good work! The Library would have some books on beginning weight lifting. You could probably find some good ideas for an ab workout in them.

The stomach and colon (for that matter) never lie do they?
I’m paying for a transgression last night myself.

My lower spine has major problems so I have to be careful with my abs, too. I swear by the 8 minute abs – I never have any lower back pain when I do that routine. (see the exercise links in the sidebar)
Motivate me, wouldjya? It’s your turn.

Congratulations on enjoying your hard work :clapping:
That’s how I try to resist (most) temptation for fast food–I remember how lousy it makes me feel afterwards!
