Week 3

Has it actually been an entire week since I’ve posted???  Wow.  Time sure flies.  This has been a strange week – weird work hours, lots of evenings spent with the VIM, a camping/hiking trip this weekend, and then on Sunday afternoon – a time when I COULD have actually taken a nap or at least spent some quality “me” time – I got a bug up my butt and HAD to move the computer, which started a snowball of moving ALL furniture in the living room and dining room, which then started a spring cleaning snowball, which STILL hasn’t stopped rolling.

Anyhow – WW weigh in was last night.  Down 2 more pounds.

10 lbs total through three weeks, 30 lbs to go.

Even better than the pounds lost, I can fit into yet ANOTHER pair of jeans that had been too tight, and I am now very close to the weight I maintained for several years before gaining throughout 2005.  All weightloss from here on out will be new territory for me – a weight and body shape I haven’t seen since high school.  Heck, not even high school.  That’s one of the things that really keeps me going – I feel like an explorer or a curious scientist…what will I look like?  what will I feel like?  my face has changed already…will it continue to change?  do I really have giant childbearing hips, or is it really just lots of fat?

These are the things I need to know, and the only way to get the answers are to keep on going.

I know what you mean about exploring a strange new territory. It will be a while before I hit that for me though.

Bravo on the pounds lost and I’m right there with you on the Spring Cleaning and rearranging etc!
