Checking In
Sorry, I haven’t posted much. I have been doing other things to take care of myself. Like WALKING! I have been walking w. a girlfriend. This is where we have been walking. We take the cliff walk above the ocean, it is so beautiful. It takes us about an hour to do the loop. OMG! I have been so sore. So it must be working. I will give it a few more walks and then get on the scale to see if I have lost anything.
My computer time is much less, when I take care of myself. It seems I use the computer as a distraction….I bet lots of us do that. Anyway, the bottom line is that I feel better!
ONE POINT FIVE
Good morning, all! I’m happy to report that the scales moved in a favorable direction this week, after last week’s, er, “stall”. I’m down 1.5 lbs this morning.
I had a couple of nice, long beach walks this past weekend, which I’m sure helped a lot, and I’ve been journaling again and that always helps keep me on track.

The week:
Well, not the best weight loss week, but still a loss. This past week has been a challenge. Between a weird work schedule (which had me eating a ham sub and FF Lays potato chips in a strange hotel in a strange town at 10 pm at night), my neice’s birthday party, and the fact that it’s PMS week, I’m quite THILLED will a loss.
It’s time to step it up, though, so I rejoined the gym yesterday. It’s close to my office, so I can go lift weights on my lunch break, and if I’m feeling REALLY motivated, I can go and do the more sweaty cardio after work. I also purchased a pair of hiking shoes, since the VIM has indiated that there are some substantial day hikes in my future. AND I am recommitting to writing down EVERYTHING I eat. Gosh, it’s easy to get away from that!
