After a 12 pound weight loss, the waistband of my pants was getting loose. I kind of liked the feeling, and I didn’t want to try on the next size down too soon. (I have three sizes in my closet, and I have made the mistake before of trying on something smaller “just to see.” Yeah, well, seeing the fat rolls trying to squeeze into denim is not pretty. Not pretty at all.)
At some point, though, the clothes started to look sloppy. And I wanted badly to be able to say “I’ve dropped a size.” So I took the plunge and tried them on.
Now, I can officially say it:
I’ve dropped a size.
Small steps, small accomplishments. Big pay-offs.
Pounds lost: 12
Pounds 2 Go: 24.2

YAY for you! I did this the other day as well. I also have three sizes of clothes in my closet and now I can wear some in the lowest size. I’ve also lost 12 and have around the same goal in mind for me.
GOOD LUCK and keep up the good work!

:veggiedance: Good for you! I sometimes think that the difference in clothes size is even more exciting than seeing the numbers move! It’s something tangible–you can see the reward for all your hard work.

Isn’t it FANTASTIC to lose a size? I bought a belt and refused to buy new clothes, then I realized how sloppy I looked and splurged… imagine my surprise when there WAS a size (or two) gone!
