A newbie’s hello
Just a short intro.. My name is Mel.. I am 26..married for almost 9 years to my husband Levi.. we have 6 beautiful children together.
I have been trying to lose this weight for almost a year now. For some reason I am not one of those lucky women that lose all the baby weight while bfing. I have been at this weight for months and months.. gaining a few for Christmas and quickly dropping back to the same ole number. *UGG*
I am getting more serious about this. I have been reading this blog for a few weeks now. Thankyou to Mrs Fun (Misti) for introducing me to it. I need encouragement in a big way and just coming here and reading how everyone else is doing has really been a huge help to me. I started a serious exercise schedule today. I feel great just for making the time for myself. So here are my stats
I’m back and fatter/er. better than ever
So after a month of moves, changes, jobs, holidays, I’m back. I haven’t gained a single pound but I realized the ten I’ve been hauling around with me are starting to bring me down. I mean it.
My goal this week is to work out Monday - Saturday. I have specific times set aside. I just need to go to bed on time so I can get up and get it done. Also, we went grocery shopping today and stocked up on everything we need to make meals and have healthy options at home. I even got a few chocolate yogurt sprinkle thingies for those nights I MUST have something sweet. I figured planning ahead is the best option to keeping eating out at bay.
Speaking of, it’s late and I need to go to bed so I can get up at six and work out. But I hope y’all are doing well. Looks quiet over here.
