Today is day 1 for me… I’m starting over on this weightloss journey once AGAIN. Plan for today is no sweet treats, no fizzy drinks, lots of water and as today is my weekly swimming group - lots of swimming and not so much hanging around in the pool chatting! Oh and I AM going to TAKE MY MEDS.
I watched “Ten Years Younger” on Wednesday. The woman had lost a lot of weight and then underwent a lot of surgery to improve the way she looked, all I could think was I bet if she had committed to exercise and a few more small changes she could have improved her appearance after the 12 weeks of the show without doing something as drastic. Granted, she had a lot of loose skin and that would have been a problem still but it did make me think that maybe if I made a few small changes and committed to them for 12 weeks I could probably see a huge difference in ME!
14 stone 7 and a half this morning or 203.5lb… that number is going down, down, down! My BMI is 35… here’s hoping to see 34 and then lower and lower for that too soon!

Good for you, Emma! I am always so inspired by stories like that, too.
12 weeks really goes by fast. If we had all stuck to a 12 week plan together, many of us would have reached our goals. Life happens, as we all know, and we get back up and start again.
If I can help in any way, please let me know!

I know I’m going to have to have lots of plastic surgery when I’m all done. I figure I’m not working this hard to look like a sharpei
Some people’s skin doesn’t firm up, esp. after alot of weight loss (and in a short time).
I get hooked on those before/after shows! LOL
Keep up the great work!
