The end of summer is upon us, and those jeans are sitting there at the bottom of the pile mocking us. Okay. I speak for myself.
I’m maintaining. I’ve maintained all summer, and I consider myself lucky! I have NOT been sticking to anything, I see my hips in the mirror and think - ugh, yes, I need to start paying attention to that again. In one month from today, my girls will be heading back to school, and I’ll have a full day to really focus again on what I want to accomplish for me. The summer has been all about them, you know? I know a lot of you know exactly what I’m talking about.
So, as not to bug those who aren’t ready or really aren’t motivated anymore, I’d like to do a roll call so I can straighten out membership over the next month and start accepting new member applications. This place thrives and does well for everyone involved - but the key word here is involved. I’m not going to whap anyone over the head for a lack of participation, you all know that I’ve not been quite a champion this summer, either. What I’d like to know either here in comments or via e-mail, if you please, is whether or not you’ll re-commit yourself with us again so we can make a significant dent in our P2G by the end of the year.
I’ve added a subscription notification list to the sidebar - on the right there just below the login area. If you’re in, please subscribe. All new members will be subscribed, and if you cancel your subscription for some reason, I’ll consider that a membership cancellation as well. Sound fair?

I’m in for the long haul…and it does look like it’s going to be a *long haul*! I’ve come back a few times through the summer with renewed enthusiasm, but this place was deserted for the most part.

Thanks, Nancy! I know it’s been pretty quiet, it does take a lot of dedication to post about your own progress as well as support others during theirs, and I appreciate your commitment. You’ve always been a great cheerleader and motivator!!

I’m guessing you can probably take me off the roll, I haven’t been here much and it isn’t fair to someone who will be more active. On a positive note, I’m down 19 lbs since I last posted. *grin*

I am much the same as pinkpen…I haven’t been here much at all especially recently. Its probably best that you take me off the roll…sorry guys! You are all doing so great and I am…well…not!
I haven’t lost any weight - in fact I am back up to 206lbs (!) which is the weight I was the day I gave birth to my youngest who is now 13 months old!
I have been trying but as some of you may know I have been diagnoised with hypothyroidism and its been tough. My doctor has me on 100mg levothyroxine but I have good days and bad days.
They have me going to a dietician now….not much help though - she told me basically what I (and probably all of us) already know - more veg/fruit, less fat/sugar and watch portions and more water + exercise. Yup I know this….trouble is its not working! LOL.
Got a few other things going on at the moment too - cafepress (doing well!) and of course my kids….I haven’t even blogged much over at my blog!

I’m still moving Leanne. I’m down nearly 70lbs. Once I hit 70 lbs I still have 100 pounds 2 go. I’d love to stay on with the site–I’ve been sad to see little to no activity here for a long time.

I’m still here. I’m maintaining…well, actually I did gain back about 4 pounds but I’m 2 pounds down from that now.
I need to post an update soon. Sorry! I’ll be better once the kids are in school, I promise!

She’s back, and she’s dangerous! This Diva is looking to lose as much weight as possible by January. Will cheer on anyone running this race! I’m breaking a sweat and definitely have my sneakers on. :veggiedance:

I’m here! It’s just been a really rough summer for me, but I’m still kicking :zombie:
I definitely want to stay with P2G since things are finally looking up for me, and I’m determined to lose more weight before year’s end
