Planning it out
I decided that the best way for me to do this again is to create a menu for myself for 7 days that I can stick with. I’m really horrible about sticking to “someone else’s” plan, making modifications to it because I don’t like this, or don’t like that. I also have a hard time figuring out from day to day what I should have, and since I don’t like thinking about food for too long, I just say “to hell with it” and eat whatever. Usually it’s not horrible, but it’s also not as good as it could be.
Over the next several days, I’m going to build a menu for myself based on everything I’ve learned. I’m going to create a grocery list I’m familiar with, and get myself into a meal routine. Things that I know work for me and give me energy - nutrients I know I need to have for balance.
