When I was young I used to lose weight in the summer and then gain it over December and January. These past few years I’ve noticed that my pattern has changed. I actually begin gaining in the late summer. It starts with ice-cream in the evenings and by October I’m eating Halloween candy. Then in January I lose again.
This year I’m starting now. I’ve gained over the summer, but will be losing over October, rather than gaining.
Do you hear me?
I joined WW again last week, and am going to do my best to stick by it today. Because I really can’t stomach hurting my body like this again. Cause it does hurt it to abuse it like I do.

We do ice cream in the evenings all summer long, so I feel your pain. In the winter, I turn to soups which are too high in sodium. I have to get used to oatmeal, and eggbeaters, and warming a turkey sandwich in the microwave. It’s not easy with all the holidays – darn those Christmas cookies!!
I’ve seen so many people have success with WW, you’ll do great!

Atleast you have a cycle where you lose!! lol Mine just seems to add up from year to year. :duh: It’s really good though that you recognize these patterns and see where your missing it because hopefully that will make it easier to fix.
I plan on joining WW this week. I’m hoping I’ll be able to stick to it too.

And I just seem to be spinning my wheels in place…I lose a few pounds, then before you know it, they’re back on. How DOES that happen?
Good luck with your new resolve!
