Well, last time I posted was way back in, oh, April or so. Don’t worry… I didn’t fall off the dieting bandwagon for that long. I actually had a good excuse. A very unexpected (but welcome) pregnancy.
The baby is here now which means I no longer can get away with saying “But, it’s ok if I have another cookie… I’m eating for two!”
I figure I better get back on the wagon soon and start watching what I eat again. I only delivered a month ago so I’m giving myself till after the holidays before I really start dieting full force again. And hopefully, by summer I’ll be at my goal. The same goal I had last year when I got pregnant! I figure (hope!) starting to post here again will give me some incentive.
So anyways… before I end this post, I imagine you might wanna take a peek at the cutie pie that interrupted my diet last spring! Here he is… our little boy, Nicholas Andrew:

I actually was not even due with him for another week and a half but I developed severe toxemia/preeclampsia and the decision was made to deliver him at just shy of 34 weeks so that I could get better. He only weighed 3 lbs 10 3/4 oz at birth! He spent two weeks in the NICU before we were able to bring him home… and he’s doing wonderful! Just celebrated his month birthday yesterday and he’s over six pounds now! And me, I’m doing great too. I lucked out and didn’t have to put on that extra end of the pregnancy weight. After all the 40+ pounds of water weight gain left, I’ve got about ten pounds to get to my pre-pregnancy weight. And I’m under the weight I was when I started dieting last year!

OH my gosh he is PRECIOUS. Congratulations, Cathy. What a teenie tiny little sweetheart!
Go you on being slimmer than pre-pregnancy! That’s quite a big deal!!
