Four new members have been added to the group, I thought I’d put up a sticky for a couple of days to welcome them and give everyone a chance to become familiar with some new names/faces.

Those of you who just signed up this weekend, please be patient - I will get you set up and send you your info some time Monday morning.
If no one sees a use for the member pages, I’ll go ahead and remove them. There are only a couple of people using that space, your logs are all linked individually on the sidebar, so right now it just links to .. nothin’. Let me know your thoughts on those. Note: You need to use the contact form to submit your info for your member page. It’s the only way that can be done at the moment.
**UPDATE** Please check the RECIPE section, we have a contributor who is filling up the space with some really delish and good-for-you foods!
**MEMBERS** Please be sure that you select your log under “Categories” when posting, it’s in the right column on your posting page. Thank you!
Site Updates
Some of you may (or may not) notice some jazzy new tools around here. I’m still tweaking the design and features available, but wanted to note to major things at the moment:
1. Spell Check: I’ve added spell check to the post page - the active spell check (while typing) is not active, but the regular spell check is functional.
2. Subscribe to Comments: This is handy when you’re participating in a conversation with an author or another commentor. Just click the box, and you’ll get e-mail notifications when the conversation has continued on.
3. Top Supporters: In the sidebar, I wanted to list members who are the most active - hopefully to inspire others to be just as active, but definitely to note the top contributors! Their names link to their own blogs, in case you’d like to visit them.
Welcome to P2G!
It’s January 1st, 2006. Pounds2Go is now alive and well, with me (Leanne) as your hostess, I hope to incite and inspire you to join me on my endeavor to permanently change my physique!
Since March of 2004, I’ve been determined to shape up. I lost track over the summer (winter, and fall) of 2005, so it’s time to get back on track! I’ve been at it again since Saturday, December 24th. To date, I’ve lost 5 pounds, I’ve gone from roughly 2000 calories a day down to 1500 healthy calories a day.
Beginning Pounds2Go: 85 lbs.
Current Pounds2Go: 45.5 lbs.
Exercise, you ask? I started at 2 miles a day, increasing by one-tenth each day. I am currently up to 2.8 miles with a goal of 5 miles per day.
As for P2G, we’re going to be HUGE. So if you’re in on the grand opening, you are going to be floored with what’s going to be happening here!
